At the tender age of 21, I sold everything I owned and set out on a global adventure, exploring the rich tapestry of cultures that spanned 20 different countries. This whirlwind tour of the globe opened my eyes to the beauty, diversity, and complexity of our world, showing me that life extended far beyond the familiar confines of my small hometown.

As life often does, it took me on a different journey. I got married and found immense joy in helping raise our four beautiful daughters. Even as I ventured into several successful businesses and rejoiced as all our girls completed college, the dreams and memories of that early globetrotting adventure kept resurfacing.
