Day 1
Arrive in Cairns and meet-and-greet by our team. Enjoy a private mini van transfer to Crystalbrook Riley, where you'll spend 4 nights in Panoramic Sea Rooms with daily breakfast. The afternoon is yours to unwind and recharge - whether that means resting at the hotel, taking a refreshing swim in the pool, or exploring the Cairns waterfront with a leisurely walk. Immerse yourself in luxury and soak up the natural beauty of Cairns, creating unforgettable memories.
Day 2
You will be picked up from your accommodation at 9.30am and be transferred to the Skyrail terminal at Smithfield terminal. You will board the Skyrail for a 10.15am departure. Journey time is 90 minutes and includes time at each stop enroute. Once in Kuranda you will have free time to explore. You will depart Kuranda at 3.30pm onboard the Kuranda Scenic Railway. You will be seated in the historic Gold Class carriage and enjoy afternoon tea whilst travelling back to Cairns. Arrive Cairns Central Station at 5.25pm – no transfer is included – your hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from Cairns Station or a 5-minute taxi ride.
Day 3
A Great Barrier Reef day cruise is today’s adventure.You will be picked up from accommodation at 7.30am and return to Cairns around 4.00pm. The day includes: glass bottom boat tour (subject to weather conditions on the day), an informative reef talk, adventure drift snorkel tour, seafood smorgasbord lunch, including salmon and prawns, tea and coffee all day. This cruise is aboard the “Ocean Freedom” travelling with a maximum of only 57 passengers.
Day 4
Today you are heading “bush” with a full day Cape Tribulation & Daintree tour. Travelling on a 27 seat Yutong coach, you will explore the world-famous Cape Tribulation, Daintree and Mossman Gorge. You will have a traditional welcome to country and smoke ceremony performed by the traditional owners of the Daintree/Cape Tribulation area. Swim, explore, cruise, visit mangroves, towering mountains, wide sandy beaches, rainforest rivers and deep gorges.Pick up from accommodation at 7.25am. Returning to your accommodation at approximately 6.45pm.
Day 5
Late morning, you will be transferred from your accommodation to Cairns Airport.You will depart Cairns at 12.20pm on an Airnorth flight.A 5.00pm you will be collected at your accommodation and undertake a Darwin City tour including a visit to a local boutique distillery/brewery for a tasting. Your driver is available to drive you to a restaurant for dinner and return you to your accommodation.All touring whilst in Darwin will be in conjunction with Ethical Adventures and Rob Woods, the owner of the company will be escorting you for your time in the Top End.
Day 6
A 7.00am pick up from your accommodation and then head to Litchfield National where you will explore Wangi Falls, Tolmer Falls,Tabletop Wetland, Florence Falls, and the Termite Mounds.Board a 90-minute scenic flight at around 1.30pm (private charter) taking in aspects of both Litchfield and Kakadu National Parks that has you arriving at Cooinda at approximately 3.00pm.At 4.30pm board a 2-hour sunset cruise on Yellow Waters Billabong.(Rob & the driver will transport your vehicles and luggage overland and meet you at Cooinda Lodge)Overnight accommodation will be at Cooinda Lodge, in Lodge Rooms, with breakfast.
Day 7
Today, explore Kakadu, visiting Warradjan culture Centre, Nourlangie Rock, the Murrawadi Art Gallery and enjoy a thrilling 45-minute airboat safari (water level/weather dependant).Enroute back to Darwin, stop at the Purple Mango Café for dinner, arriving back in Darwin around 8.00pm.You will once again have overnight accommodation at Argus Apartments in Darwin.
Day 8
Journey Beyond, the operators of “The Ghan” will transfer you from your accommodation to Darwin Railway Station for your 9.00am departure on “The Ghan”.All meals, drinks and off train excursions are included whilst travelling on “The Ghan”.
Day 9- Day 10: THE GHAN EXPERIENCE
Day 11
Arrive in Adelaide. Transfer to Sofitel Hotel 3pm. Welcome dinner at Botanic Restaurant, Botanical Gardens.
Day 12
Depart for Magill Cellars on Adelaide’s outskirts, the home of the famous shiraz called Grange. Enjoy an ultimate Penfolds tasting. Afterwards enjoy free time, lunch in the Adelaide Markets and local city sights. Evening is free.
Day 13
Depart for McLaren Vale, arriving at the iconic d’Arenberg Cube for a taste and views. Afterwards lunch at the renowned Maxwells Wines. Your post lunch appointment is with single vineyard wines at Richard Hamilton Wines. Evening is free
Day 14
Depart for Adelaide’s cooler climate vineyard expanse in the Adelaide Hills. Arrive at Shaw & Smith (two Masters of Wine in residence) to enjoy select chardonnay and pinot noirs. Afterwards head for lunch at Hardys Verandah Restaurant Mt Lofty. Dust off the bubbles with a Handorf Village walk and scenic return. Evening is free
Day 15
Depart for the famous family held Henschke Winery in Eden Valley for an icon tasting of shiraz. Afterwards visit Seppeltsfield to take a traditional local cooking class and accompanying lunch. Visit the winery cellar door to taste your birth year. Arrive at your Barossa Hotel; dine local in the hotel restaurant.
Day 16
Arrive in Cairns and meet-and-greet by our team. Enjoy a private mini van transfer to Crystalbrook Riley, where you'll spend 4 nights in Panoramic Sea Rooms with daily breakfast. Day 17
Tour ends, departures for Adelaide to Sydney. On your arrival in Sydney, you will be transferred by private mini-van to the Langham Hotel, Sydney.Accommodation will be in Deluxe City King rooms, with breakfast daily.At 4.00pm you will be met in the hotel foyer and commence a private 2.5-hour Signature History & Pub (walking) Tour through the historic Rocks area of Sydney. The tour will include stops at 2 historic pubs and 2 (standard) alcoholic drinks per person.
Day 18
At 9.00am, you will be met in the hotel foyer and spend the day exploring all the exciting sights that Sydney has to offer. This private tour will transport you to places like Paddington, Bondi Beach and Watson’s Bay, King’s Cross, and Woolloomooloo. As the tour is exclusively yours’ we will be able to adapt the tour to fit your requirements.
Day 19
At 9.00am, you will be met in the hotel foyer and spend the day in the spectacular Blue Mountains west of Sydney. Visit The Three Sisters, Katoomba Scenic World, have time to explore the beautiful village of Leura. Again, the van and driver will be at your disposal for 8 hours and we can adapt the itinerary to suit your needs.
Day 20
The day is free to spend in Sydney – perhaps do a Harbour Bridge climb, visiting Taronga Park Zoo, ride the ferry to Manly, shopping or eating!
Day 21
A private vehicle transfer from your accommodation to Sydney International Airport is included.
